The Dallas Cowboys have been struggling over their last few games without both Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. It has been a disappointing season to say the least for the Cowboys, but they are hoping to welcome Bryant back to the field in the next few weeks. According to a report from Rand Getlin, there is a 50-50 chance that Bryant will be able to play for the Cowboys this week.
While #Cowboys WR Dez Bryant is considered a long-shot to play this weekend a well-placed source said "it's 50/50". Tomorrow will tell more.

Obviously it doesn’t seem all that likely that the Cowboys will get their star receiver back this week. Even if he can’t play this week, there is a good chance that Week 8 will be the week that he finally makes his return to the field.
Last season with the Cowboys, Bryant showed exactly why many view him as the best all-around receiver in the NFL. He finished the 2014 season with 88 passes for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns. Those numbers don’t leave much room for debate about just how dominant Bryant is capable of being for the Cowboys.
At 26 years old, Bryant is in the physical prime of his career and there is no question that will be back on the field at some point in the next few weeks.
Dallas can’t afford to be without their star receiver for too much longer if they want any chance at making the NFL playoffs. Romo being out hurts in a big way, but Bryant could still carry the offense simply by being on the field himself. Matt Cassel is now the starting quarterback and is more than capable of keeping the Cowboys in the playoff race.
All of that being said, this is good news for the Cowboys although they will likely have to wait at least one more week until they see him back in action. Bryant is definitely on the mend, however, and will be back on the field making flashy plays before you know it.
