Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens: Three fantasy football sleepers

One of the more intriguing matchups this week is the Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens game. While the game may not be receiving much national attention, there are quite a few storylines to keep an eye on throughout the course of the game.

Hue Jackson and the Browns have a dilemma at the quarterback position following the injury to Robert Griffin III. Josh McCown will start, but the Browns may have to go out and make a move. Baltimore is hoping to see Steve Smith Sr. come back with a strong second week and are hoping that their offense can take a big step in the right direction.

There is no question that these two teams are not expected to make the 2016 NFL playoffs. Neither team is viewed as a serious contender in the AFC.

All of that being said, which three players are the top fantasy sleepers heading into this Week 2 matchup?

Josh McCown, Quarterback, Cleveland Browns

Now that Josh McCown is starting for the Browns, there is good reason to give him a chance. He has a talented offense around him, although he won’t have Josh Gordon back for another three games. McCown may not be a great first choice in the starting lineup, but don’t shy away from plugging him into the lineup if you need a quarterback.

Justin Forsett, Running Back, Baltimore Ravens

Justin Forsett may not be viewed as one of the top fantasy running back options this season, but owners should consider putting him into their lineups this week. He is going up against a Browns’ defense that has always had issues with running backs. Forsett is healthy and should put up a pretty good game this week against the Browns.

Corey Coleman, Wide Receiver, Cleveland Browns

Another player to plug into your lineup if you have him is rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman from the Browns. McCown is going to look to him early and often and Jacksons’s game plan will likely include a heavy dosage of Coleman. He may be a rookie, but you can trust that he will have a solid outing this week.
