The Reactor – BRADY THE GREAT! Pats Take Out the Phins

The Dolphins came out of the games on fire. Reggie Bush looked like an elite running back and Chad Henne looked like well an NFL QB. The play calling was perfection and the Dolphins got off to a 7-0 lead on Chad Henne’s second career rushing touchdown.

Then Tom Brady entered the game…..

Brady and the Patriots wasted no time showing how to run the ideal offence. Brady was able to pick apart the Dolphins defence which showed no signs of a pass rush connecting on a long 46 yard pass to rookie Matt Prater followed shortly by a TD run by the law firm BGE.

The Dolphins got the ball back and well it was back to mediocrity for the Dolphins offence as they weren’t able to compile anything else exciting for the rest of the half.

When Brady was able to get the ball back he hooked up with his two young tight ends Gronkowski and Hernandez and throw in a little Danny Woodhead and minutes later it was 14-7 as Brady would hit his new favourite target the big TE #87.

Side note: Chad Ochocino was barely seen the whole first half and starting Center Dan Koppen left the field on a stretcher.

Before the half end New England was yet again able to move the ball but the drive stalled and ended with a missed 47 yard FG.

To start the second half Brady came out on fire yet again UNTIL the Dolphins defence decided to join the game and Jarred Oddrick made a huge interception.

Chad Henne and the fish were able to finish the drive off with a nice dart to WR Brian Hartline to tie the game at 14.

Brady came right back however picking a part the weak Dolphins secondary with the no huddle offence. The drive was capped off with a 2 yard TD toss to Wes Welker.

Henne came back by going to the big man Brandon Marshall moving the Miami offence down the field, but settled with 3 points after their offence failed to put the ball in the end zone 3 straight times.

Tom Brady got back on the field and made Nolan Carroll the Dolphins cornerback and over night celebrity as he abused him on almost every play on the drive. Starting corner back Vontae Davis was taken out of the game due to cramps and Brady made the Dolphins secondary pay.

Brady finished an impressive drive with a nice throw to Aaron Hernandez for 7, taking a 28-17 lead.

The domination of New England tight ends continued. As both Hernandez and Gronkowski had games that would make any fantasy owner a happy man. New England added 3 points as surprisingly the Brady led offence stalled in the red zone now making it a 31-17 game.

The Dolphins didn’t want to go away as Henne looked very poised leading the Dolphins offence down the field, but then with a TERRIBLE play call on the half inch line failed to put the ball in the end zone.

The next play Tom Terrific goes back to work throwing a 99 yard NFL record touchdown pass to Wes Welker.

Dolphins came back with a meaning less drive led by Henne who actually looked very good by nights end. Bush had a touchdown grab to take the score to 38-24.  Chad Henne turned out to be the Dolphins best player tonight.

Brady finished with a franchise and a Monday Night record with a career high 517 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Man it was a great day to have Tom Brady or any of the Patriots in fantasy.
