Back when Peyton Manning purchased some Colorado-based Papa John’s franchises, it was too easy to joke that Manning was making a smart investment based on the fact the state was in the process of legalizing marijuana.
But Manning’s no idiot regarding the munchies, which is why he told Peter King of The MMQB that there probably is indeed a connection between that legal development and a boom in Papa John’s revenues within the state.
There’s some different laws out here in Colorado. Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes. So when you come to a different place, you’ve kind of got to learn everything that comes with it.
