Two days ago, the Houston Texans made the decision to release Andre Johnson after 12 seasons and over 1,000 receptions. He’s now officially a member of the Indianapolis Colts.
Johnson had 85 receptions in 2014 but balked at being told that he would not be a featured part of the Texans offense in 2015. T.Y. Helton led the Colts last year with 82 receptions. The Colts second leading receiver in 2014 was Reggie Wayne, and it was announced earlier this week that he would not be re-signed.
