Best players still available entering the second week of NFL free agency

As we enter the second full week of free agency, here’s a look at the top unrestricted free agents still left on the open market:

1. Greg Hardy: Yes, there are obvious character concerns and he’ll likely be suspended for a couple games, but the 26-year-old did have 15 sacks during a Pro Bowl 2013 season. The Cowboys, Seahawks and Bucs have been rumored.

2. Rolando McClain: The former first-round pick really revived his career last year in Dallas, frequently standing out and becoming a leader in the middle for the Cowboys. I’m sure there are trust issues here, but McClain has a high ceiling and looks to be a reliable starter going forward. He’s also only 25 years old.

3. Stefen Wisniewski: A potential long-term option at center who struggled a bit in 2014 but is a strong run blocker and has at times looked dominant. He’s still only 25.

4. Joe Barksdale: The Titans are reportedly interested in the veteran right tackle, who shined in 2013 but had some trouble last season.

5. Michael Crabtree: We’re talking about a 27-year-old former top-10 pick who had over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns two years ago.

6. Brandon Spikes: He’s a one-dimensional player but Spikes always ranks highly among inside linebackers at Pro Football Focus. The 27-year-old can still start somewhere.

7. Louis Delmas: The safety had a solid season in Miami and has seemingly fixed his injury problems.

8. Denarius Moore: He had over 600 yards and five touchdowns in three consecutive seasons before falling off in 2014. In the right system, he could be a solid starter.

9. Mason Foster: A strong, reliable tackler when healthy, Foster missed six games due to a shoulder injury in 2014.

10. Sterling Moore: The journeyman cornerback had an incredibly strong, underrated season last year with the Cowboys and could be a strong nickel option elsewhere.
