Earlier this week, we shared a video with you of Rob Gronkowski and NXT wrestler Mojo Rawley cutting a promo. FoxSports.com’s Jimmy Traina had the opportunity to talk with Gronk this week and of course he asked him about wrestling.
Here’s what Rob had to say…
FS: You cut a pretty impressive WWE promo earlier this week. Would you ever do something with the WWE?
RG: My boy Mojo Rawley is in the WWE’s NXT and he just got back from an injury, so he’s about to start amping it up again and he’s doing a great job. He’s my boy and he’s killing it. I love watching him. We were just chilling and we cut a promo together and we had a blast. I can definitely see something in the future. Hopefully Mojo Rawley starts wrestling a lot and starts doing what he has to do and makes it to “Monday Night Raw”, if my boy is there, I’m there for an appearance.FS: Would you want to get in the ring or would it just be like a manager thing?
RG: All of it.
Of course Gronk wants to get involved in wrestling, he’s built for it.
