Watch: Phillip Dorsett runs 4.33 40 yd dash at NFL Combine

Chris Johnson holds the NFL Combine record for the 40 yard dash with a time of 4.24. Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Phillip Dorsett was thought to be the most likely candidate to break that record this season and on his first attempt he failed to do so but still ran an impressive time of 4.33.

Does Los Angeles deserve an NFL team?

The gold rush is back in California. Three teams in the National Football League are madly rushing toward Los Angeles, hoping to get a piece of the second-largest American city. On the surface, it seems ludicrous the NFL has been without a franchise in a market like Los Angeles. When you dig deeper, it begins […]

Franchise tag possibilities for all 32 NFL teams

As we approach free agency in just a few short weeks, we’ll start to see more and more players get franchise tagged. The beauty of modern day free agency is that while the allure of an open market is exciting for players looking to get a new contract, teams can protect themselves by strapping a […]

Could Cleveland Browns move up to get Marcus Mariota?

Some interesting stuff here from NFL.com and, of course, it will only get more interesting between now and April 30th…. When Ray Farmer was asked Thursday if the Browns would be willing to package their two first-round picks to move up for a quarterback in the NFL Draft, the Browns general manager told reporters that […]

2015 NFL Combine: Seven Prospects Who Should “Blow Up” in Indianapolis

The NFL Combine has tremendous value for NFL teams from a player evaluation standpoint. While interviewing top quarterback, comparing top prospects and weeding out players from the big board is a huge aspect, team’s mostly want to make sure they haven’t “missed” on any guys, especially ones they may have under-appreciated. These seven players are […]

NFL has to stop over-thinking extra points

I have absolutely no problem with the extra point basically being automatic. And I’m curious, are any of you that upset that PATs have become so easy? Is it really making the game any less awesome for you? You know what would be less awesome? A great game between two teams that score four touchdowns […]

Why would the Colts — or anyone — be interested in Frank Gore?

The Indianapolis Colts have committed some serious blunders in their continued pursuit of a good running back. This is a franchise that hasn’t had a 1,000-yard rusher since 2007 and two years ago traded a first-round pick for mega-bust Trent Richardson. Apparently, they haven’t learned that backs a) are worth a dime a dozen, and […]
