It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas, this is even better! Favre watch is back!!! Take out those wranglers from your closet and put on your old number 4 jerseys.
With the recent absolutely terrible quarterback play in Chicago, Lovie Smith said that the Bears will most likely add another QB to the mix. And with Matt Forte shelved for 2-4 weeks it is imperative the Bears find a QB if they have any intention of making the playoffs.
Right away two names come to mind: Brett Favre and Donavan McNabb.
Seeing as nobody really cares about McNabb anymore lets switch the focus to the old gunslinger. While Favre claims he is “retired,” we all know that is never the case. Farve will be ready to listen to offers even on his death bed.
ESPN Chicago’s @mikecwright on Brett Favre: “He’s retired, but he would definitely entertain any kind of thought of possibly coming back”
Pro Football Talk is also putting out a report that Brett would listen should the Bears put in a call.
Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that the old man gives it one more whirl, well that is until next year.
