Of course, Hernandez's football career is far from anyone's mind at this point as we await what charges are to be levied against the former Patriots tight end. The immediate release likely is a sign there are more details in this case to come that aren't good for Hernandez. Hernandez signed a 5 year, $40 million dollar contract extension with the Patriots last August.
