Monday Night Football the cheapest Packers ticket remaining this year

The Green Bay Packers were just 1-2 through three games to start the year when Aaron Rodgers told everyone to relax. It turns out his laid back approach to a frustrating start was the right take, as Green Bay has stormed to an 8-1 run since, and head into the month of December with their fate in their hands at 9-3.

The Packers still need to finish strong and could have an epic season finale on their hands in week 17, but if they simply keep the course, they should be gearing up for a trip to the playoffs, and possibly an NFC North division title.

For fans looking to catch a game in December, below is a breakdown of what they will find to be the cheapest and most expensive Green Bay Packers games over the final month of the regular season:

Cheapest – VS. Atlanta Falcons (12/8/14) | Average Ticket Price: $113.52 | Get-in Ticket Price: $50

Packers tickets dip ridiculously below their season average ($379.05) in this one, as the 5-7 Atlanta Falcons come to town in week 14. They may be hosting a losing squad, but that shouldn’t actually see this one taking such a hit, considering the Falcons are still in play for their division and this game comes on Monday Night Football.

While the ticket value dips, the actual value of this game is pretty good for fans of both sides, while even the casual observer could still get a good game out of it. Of course, Green Bay is undefeated at home and has looked extremely sharp over the past 10 weeks, so it’s unlikely they falter at home in front of the nation.

Most Expensive – @ Buffalo Bills (12/14/14) | Average Ticket Price: $486.73 | Get-in Ticket Price: $72

Green Bay heads to Buffalo in week 15, where the Bills could be desperate for a win. Green Bay is sitting pretty at the moment, but they still can’t afford to lose any footing against a 7-5 Bills team that is still very dangerous thanks to an elite defense.

Playing in Buffalo has historically been a thorn in Green Bay’s side, as the Packers are 0-5 against the Bills on the road dating back to 1979. For the Packers to keep their momentum and dash Buffalo’s playoff hopes, they’ll have to put an end to that annoying streak. It won’t be easy to have a balanced attack against a stout Bills run defense, but it could be their own defense that actually proves to be the difference.

Regardless of the outcome, this game is slated to carry much more weight than some would suspect at first glance, as these are two playoff contenders at the moment.
