Andrew Luck missed the Indianapolis Colts’ Week 4 16-13 overtime victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was an ugly game to say the least, but the Colts were still able to even their record at 2-2 on the young season. Indianapolis also saw how much they need Luck on the field to play to their full potential on the offensive side of the football.
There is no question that the Colts would like to have Luck on the field against the Houston Texans on Thursday night and it appears that they will have that wish granted. According to a report from Zak Keefer, Luck looks clear to play and be the starter this week.
So, the feel I get after hearing from Pagano and Hasselbeck: It's pretty clear. Andrew Luck will be the starting quarterback Thursday night.

Throughout the first three weeks of the season, Luck has struggled mightily. Indianapolis lost their first two games of the season with him throwing interception after interception, but he got back on track a bit two weeks ago against the Tennessee Titans. He still has a lot of work to do, but there is no question that he has the talent to turn his season around.
So far this season, Luck has completed 56.0 percent of his passes for 753 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions. Those numbers simply aren’t going to get the job done for a quarterback that many thought would contend for the MVP award.
All of that being said, getting back on the field this week will be a big step in the right direction for Luck. He is one of the fiercest competitors in the NFL, but sometimes that competitiveness can hurt him. If he can just learn when to force the issue and when to cut his losses, he will become a much better quarterback and work his way into his full potential.
Expect to see Luck on the field this week and to be a big part of the Colts’ game plan on Thursday night.
