After an inexplicable amount of hype and some rather hilarious/ridiculous leaks, the Cleveland Browns finally officially unveiled their new uniforms on Tuesday, a fortnight ahead of the draft.

As you can see, Cleveland going heavy on the orange, which is an interesting choice for a team named the Browns whose Bengals rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, has always been all about the orange. Plus, that’s the color John Elway and the Denver Broncos wore when they burned the Browns time and again in the 1980s.
According to CBSSports.com, they’ve worn orange jerseys five times in franchise history. But with these new orange alternate jerseys, that’s about to change.

I really like the emphasis on the word “CLEVELAND” on the front. I think it’s important to rep the home city that way, with the city name taking precedent over the team nickname. Cleveland folk likely see where I’m coming from there.
The pants will still rep the team name, which of course comes from original owner Paul Brown.

Finally, in a nice touch, they’ve added a tribute to the Dawg Pound to the collar.
