Darrelle Revis returns to the New York Jets

Per his agent, Darrelle Revis has agreed to a return to the New York Jets…

The six time Pro-Bowler, four time All-Pro and now Super Bowl Champion Darrelle Revis has agreed to terms with the team that drafted him 14th overall in the 2007 draft.

Revis spent the first six years of his career in New York with Jets before heading to Tampa Bay for one year and then to New England for one year and a Super Bowl Championship.

Now that Revis has his ring, it’s time for him to cash in and it’s rumored that the Jets offered Revis at least $40 million in guaranteed money.

The Jets will add Revis to the previously signed Buster Skrine from Cleveland. Skrine was signed to a four-year, $25 million contract with $13 million guaranteed. Skrine and Revis will join the rehabbing Dee Milliner as the Jets try to remake their secondary in 2015.

Here’s the updated contract numbers for Revis….
