ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a new contract for one year.

The one-year deal is worth $11 million, including a $1 million base salary, a $9 million signing bonus and a $1 million roster bonus, a source told ESPN’s John Clayton.
Lynch was reportedly on his way to Seattle on Friday, where he will meet with Seahawks owner Paul Allen and is expected to sign the deal.

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has agreed to terms on a new contract that covers the next three years. And he’ll be paid at the high end of the running back market.
Per a source with knowledge of the terms, Lynch gets $12 million this year, in the form $7.5 million signing bonus and a $4.5 million fully-guaranteed base salary.
Lynch is coming off of a great year in which he ran for over 1,300 yards and had the most regular season touchdowns in his career. Lynch has been a member of the Seahawks for four seasons and has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of the four seasons.
During the last few weeks of the NFL Playoffs, Lynch was a lightning rod because of his lack of enthusiasm towards the media and then because he wasn’t given the ball on the goal line when the Seahawks were knocking on the door of a Super Bowl victory.
Lynch was last seen hanging out in Turkey and questioned the final play call but it looks like he will be returning to the confines of the Pacific Northwest for the 2015 season and that’s great news if you are a Seahawks fan.
