Thursday Night Football Is Second Most Expensive Home Game Remaining For Undefeated Bengals

This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup will feature one of the four undefeated teams remaining in the NFL, as the Cincinnati Bengals have their sights set on moving to 8-0 with an AFC North divisional game against the Cleveland Browns standing in the way.

For the Bengals, it is the second most expensive home game remaining on the schedule on the secondary ticket market. According to SeatSmart.com, secondary market Bengals tickets have an average price of $208.51 with a get-in price of $104 for entrance into Paul Brown Stadium on Thursday, November 5th. The only home game more expensive is their second matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 13th, which currently has an average ticket price of $217.82 with a get-in price of $92. Fans attending the game can find $5 Paul Brown Stadium parking on ParkWhiz.com to ease the process of entering and leaving the stadium.

Cleveland is in the midst of a three-game losing streak after this past Sunday’s 34-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. To Cleveland’s defense, their recent stretch of games would be difficult for any team to handle, facing the undefeated Denver Broncos, traveling to St. Louis to face the Rams and then facing another stout defense at home against Arizona. Unfortunately the schedule will not ease up, as the Browns have two consecutive road games against the undefeated Bengals and the Steelers, who just welcomed back quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

There are three Cleveland games remaining for which Browns tickets on the secondary market have an average price of over $200. All three of those games are being played away from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, as they have the game against the Bengals with the aforementioned average ticket price, take on the Steelers next week at Heinz Field with an average ticket price of $243.37 and a get-in price of $91 and finally, take on the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field for their most expensive game of the season that currently has an average price of $354.64 with a get-in price of $146.

This Thursday night’s game had a steady average ticket price of near $140 from June to October, but has been rising as the date of the game approaches. On October 1st, the average ticket price was $134.71, which climbed to $219.17 by October 16th. After reaching a high of $221.19 one day later, tickets to the game plateaued into the price it currently sits.
