Carson Palmer is one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks this season and is hoping to lead the Arizona Cardinals deep into the 2016 postseason. Arizona is without question one of the teams to beat in the NFC this season, although they have a lot of talent to go up against in order to make a run at a Super Bowl 51 appearance.
That being said, Palmer hit a major milestone in his career this afternoon against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He passed Joe Montana on the all-time passing yard list to improve to the No. 16 quarterback of all-time in that category.
Congratulations to Carson Palmer!

There is no question that congratulations are in order to Palmer. Following Sunday’s performance, Palmer now has thrown for 40,615 yards. Those numbers back up the idea that he is one of the more underrated quarterbacks that we have seen over the last 20 years.
Looking ahead at the rest of the 2016 season, the Cardinals’ offense will have a lot of pressure on their shoulders. There is no question that the Cardinals’ defense is among the best in the NFL. It will be up to their offense to put enough production up to put the points on the board necessary.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the season holds for the Cardinals. Whatever may come their way, Palmer is slowly but surely working his way up the NFL record books.
