The Buffalo Bills are coming off of a disappointing 8-8 season in which they missed the NFL Playoffs. Heading into the 2015 season, Buffalo was widely expected to be a team that should make the playoffs with the talent that they had put together. Rex Ryan wasn’t happy with his first season as the Bills’ head coach and is already making a few changes to the defensive coaching staff.
According to a report from Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, Rob Ryan will join his brother’ staff in Buffalo.
Source tells @NFLonFOX that Rob Ryan is joining @buffalobills defensive coaching staff working under/with his twin brother Rex.

This should make for intriguing entertainment for fans and media members to watch. Rob and Rex have both had a lot of success throughout their respective careers and it will be interesting to see what kind of role Rob will have on the sidelines with his brother.
Things didn’t work out for Rob in New Orleans this past season and the fans grew tired of his defense playing well below standards. He was without question one of the problems with the Saints this season. Buffalo has a lot of talent defensively, although there are rumors that Mario Williams could be leaving the team this offseason.
All of that being said, the family get together in Buffalo is something that many should have seen coming.
Rex Ryan has always been close with his brother and if there was a role he would pick him up. How long Rob ends up staying with the Bills will be another question, but the two will definitely be on the same page.
