Top 10 Players in the AFC North

This weekly series presents the 10 best players in each division. This week we continue with the AFC North.

1. Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

He has the 2nd most and 4th most receptions in a season in NFL history. Last season he had 136 catches for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s re-writing the NFL record books.

2. Joe Thomas, T, Cleveland Browns

When it’s all said and done he might be one of the best tackles the game has ever seen. He’s been to 9 straight Pro Bowls.

3. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

His career has been completely revitalized with the added weapons of Brown and Le’Veon Bell. He’s 34 but playing some of the best football of his career. His season in 2014 in particular was spectacular.

4. A. J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

He’s gone over 1,000 yards receiving all five of his seasons in the league. In almost any other division he’s the best receiver.

5. Marshal Yanda, G, Baltimore Ravens

One of the most underrated players in the league. 5 straight Pro Bowls, maybe the best guard in the NFL, and still doesn’t get talked about nearly enough.

6. Geno Atkins, DT, Cincinnati Bengals

Any time you’re a double digit sack guy as an interior player, you’re special.

7. Le’Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

It was going to be impossible for him to duplicate the legendary performance he had in 2014. Hopefully he can return to health in 2016 because he’s one of the league’s best all around backs when healthy.

8. Joe Haden, CB, Cleveland Browns

Also coming back from a devastating injury but one of the best at what he does when he’s right physically.

9. C. J. Mosley, LB, Baltimore Ravens

Didn’t have quite the dominant year in 2015 that he did in 2014 as a rookie, but it was still impressive. One of the best young linebackers in the league.

10. Andrew Whitworth, T, Bengals

He might be 34 but he’s coming off his second trip to the Pro Bowl and arguably his best season as a pro.
