Week 7 is here, and you might be entering the weekend with your own preferences regarding which games to focus on, and which to place on the backburner.
Most of you have your favorites and fantasy players to track. But in case you’re completely neutral or need help breaking ties with regard to what to watch, we’ve ranked all 15 games from most appealing to least enticing.
1. Texans at Broncos (Monday night, ESPN): Brock Osweiler returns to Denver in a killer matchup between two AFC contenders. The Texans look as though they’ve turned a corner with that new-look offense, while the Broncos are suddenly slumping.
2. Seahawks at Cardinals (Sunday night, NBC): This has become a great rivalry. Two legit Super Bowl contenders with less-than-perfectly-healthy quarterbacks in prime time.
3. Vikings at Eagles (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Both teams started hot, and there’s the Sam Bradford factor as he takes on his former team. Carson Wentz versus that talented and rested Minnesota defense is worth checking in on throughout the afternoon.
4. Colts at Titans (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Rarely do AFC South games get this much love here, but the 2-4 Colts are always entertaining. And right now they’re desperate. Plus, Marcus Mariota and the Titans are in a bit of a groove.
5. Giants at Rams (Sunday, 9:30 a.m., NFL Network): A pair of 3-3 teams from major markets trying to position themselves for playoff runs. Pretty good Sunday morning matchup.
6. Redskins at Lions (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Both quarterbacks bring fireworks, both teams love playing wild games and this should be a relatively close NFC matchup with potential playoff implications.
7. Chargers at Falcons (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, FOX): San Diego has been involved in a lot of wild games, so if this is close it’s worth focusing on. Great quarterback matchup, anyway.
8. Bears at Packers (Thursday night, CBS/NFL Network): This is intriguing because Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are a mess and the rival Bears could give them trouble. Still, Thursday nighters consistently suck.
9. Raiders at Jaguars (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Oakland’s offense is pure entertainment, and the defense might be bad enough to give the high-flying Jacksonville offense a chance to load up points. Expect a shootout between two teams that entered the year with a lot of hype.
10. Bills at Dolphins (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Buffalo is a lot of fun right now, and Rex Ryan’s team is trying to win five in a row for the first time in over a decade. Blowout potential exists, though, because Miami isn’t good.
11. Saints at Chiefs (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX): Drew Brees is still a spectacle, as is that talented and aggressive Kansas City defense. This should at least be entertaining, especially if it’s close.
12. Patriots at Steelers (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, CBS): Without Ben Roethlisberger, this blowout-in-the-making loses a ton of points.
13. Ravens at Jets (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Baltimore has come back to earth and the Jets suck. Not even a New York quarterback controversy can save this.
14. Browns at Bengals (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS): Cincinnati is trying to save its season, and Cleveland would love to spoil things. But this still isn’t worth checking out unless it’s close in the fourth quarter.
15. Buccaneers at 49ers (Sunday, 4 p.m. ET, FOX): Just terrible.
