Chicago Bears Considering Trading Down from No. 3 Pick

John Fox and the Chicago Bears are in big need of coming up with a few talented players in the 2017 NFL Draft and it all starts tonight with the first round. At this point in time, Chicago holds the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, but that could change in the near future.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are considering trading back from the No. 3 pick.

Needless to say, this is a bit shocking to see. Chicago has been connected to North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky over the past few weeks quite a bit and could likely move back a few picks in order to make that happen. Trubisky would immediately compete with Mike Glennon for the starting job in Chicago.

So far, no teams have been linked in rumors with the Bears about the No. 3 overall pick. There are likely a few teams that will make a push to acquire the pick, but at this point it doesn’t sound like a trade is close.

Do you think the Chicago Bears should trade the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft? Which teams do you think should look to move up and acquire the pick? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below!
