A really good tight end can make or break your passing game. Some great tight ends in recent history have also played basketball. Two in particular are Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates.
That’s probably why teams are so interested in Baylor basketball player Rico Gathers. Gathers averaged 11.2 ppg and 9.0 rpg but sees himself with a better potential career in the NFL than the NBA.
Apparently, NFL scouts agree with Gathers…..
#Baylor basketball player Rico Gathers has his pro day today at the #Saints facility & 24 teams sent representatives. Teams are intrigued.
