Cowboys agree to contract with Darren McFadden

After the loss of DeMarco Murray to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys have picked up former Arkansas Razorback and Oakland Raider Darren McFadden.

McFadden’s best season was in 2010 when he ran for over 1,000 yards. Since then he’s failed to average more than 3.4 ypc in any season and his ypg average has decreased every year.

It’s being reported that this deal is “incentive-based”…

Jerry Jones’ squad agreed to a two-year deal with Darren McFadden worth up to $5.85 million, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. (“Up to” indicating the contract will likely be heavily incentive-based.)
