Many of us may know former University of Kentucky defensive tackle Donte Rumph as “cupcake” from the Atlanta Falcons season of Hard Knocks. While many are choosing to get out of professional football at a young age, Rumph has apparently fallen on hard times and tried to make his way back into the league in an unconventional way as Rumph camped out across from the Atlanta Falcons Flowery Branch training facility in hopes of getting a second chance.
According to a couple of different sources, Rumph did get a call but it was from the New York Jets. This will be an interesting story to keep an eye on during camp.
